Jetty Repair

Structures in tidal zones fail faster than most people realise. The water, constant movement, and limited access windows mean small maintenance issues quickly become major structural problems if they’re not handled properly. We were recently brought in to repair and restore a jetty that had been heavily impacted by tidal conditions. Access alone was a challenge. Elements of the project could only be inspected and surveyed by boat, and every stage of the work had to be carefully planned around the tide. That meant tight working windows and precise coordination to get the job done safely and efficiently. The project involved complex fabrication, full surface preparation, specialist coating application, and essential structural maintenance to protect the jetty long-term. Despite the environmental constraints, the team delivered the work on schedule and restored the structure to a standard that will keep it operational for many years to come. These type of environments are unforgiving. Having the right team, planning and expertise makes all the difference. Great effort from everyone involved on this one!
